Getronagan High School's robotics team, LANCE, is a robotics community of passionate students who have come together with the goal of becoming a generation that not only consumes technology but also produces it. As young individuals from different disciplines, we bring together our engineering, software, design, and problem-solving skills, thinking and creating together.
For us, robotics is not just a competition arena; it is also a way of life where we express our creativity , develop team spirit, learn from our mistakes, and grow. Every project, every design, and every line of code is part of our power of learning, collaboration, and imagination power.
We work to contribute to technologies that will shape the future, produce inspiring projects, and represent our school and country in the best possible way on the national and international stage. Events We Organized and Participated In

29 January 2025

We visited Büyükada under the FRC's REEFSCAPE program.

As Team Lance, we made a meaningful visit to Büyükada within the scope of FRC's REEFSCAPE theme. This visit significantly contributed to both developing our project vision and increasing our awareness of nature and sustainability issues. By examining the island's ecosystem firsthand, we gained new perspectives on the environmental dimension of our project and acquired valuable experiences that will inspire our work.

We participated in the FRC 2025 REEFSCAPE competition.

Lance, we participated in the FRC 2025 REEFSCAPE competition. This process allowed us to both improve our engineering skills and strengthen our teamwork. We went through an intensive period of work to produce innovative solutions in line with the environmental and technological requirements presented by the REEFSCAPE theme. The competition provided us with valuable experiences in terms of both technical progress and social awareness.

17-18 March 2025

We participated in the Kelebekro competition organized by GTÜ.

As LANCE #10203, we added a new chapter to our journey by participating in the 6th International Butterfly Robot Olympics organized by Gebze Technical University on May 17-18 this year. Each competition taught us not only about robotics and coding, but also about team spirit, solidarity, and the power of dreams. For us, this is just the beginning… There is still so much to learn, share, and create!

17-18-19 October 2025

We participated in the 2025 Off-Season competition.

Our school's robotics team, LANCE, participated in the Ümraniye FRC Off-Season Robot Competition held between October 17-19. Our team had a successful competition, drawing attention with their team spirit, determination, and fair play. Our team achieved outstanding success in the ranking matches, winning 10 out of the 12 matches they played and finishing 2nd out of 24 teams in their classification. Our team bid farewell to the tournament after the third match in the final series. We congratulate our team, who gained many new experiences, for their success.
